Nicola Carvalho

Play Therapist

 

 

Nicola has been working as a Play Therapist for eight years in a variety of settings including a therapeutic community, special schools, a family centre, nursery and primary schools.  She has supervised MA students from Roehampton University and is a registered member of the British Association of Play Therapists.

 

Nicola’s background is as a primary teacher in mainstream education.  From 1983 to 1990, she taught full time and then part time when her three sons were born.

 

Nicola has also worked as a volunteer bereavement counsellor at the Princess Alice Hospice.
