Carolina is a qualified Integrative Sand-play Therapist and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  She is a Systemic Practitioner and has completed substantial training in bereavement, Internal Family Systems, trauma and mindfulness.

Carolina worked for 10 years with a local authority in London delivering therapeutic support to vulnerable children, young people and their families. She supported many families experiencing grief through the Cruse Bereavement Care’s National Helpline and as a volunteer Bereavement counsellor. Carolina has also worked as a therapist with several primary schools for Jigsaw4u Children’s charity.

Carolina loves being a therapist and is passionate about making a difference in her clients' lives. She enjoys having a creative approach that uses play, sand, art, images and other useful resources to engage, support and help her clients in the process of healing/change. Alongside her work at The School and Family Works, she currently provides private one-to-one therapeutic support.
