Founded in 2009 by Mark Griffiths, an experienced educational psychotherapist, The School & Family Works has always been driven by one purpose: to help children facing adversity succeed in school and in life.
In 2023, we became a registered charity, marking a new chapter in our mission to create meaningful, lasting change. We offer flexible, therapeutic, community-based services that enable schools and families to work together to help vulnerable children achieve educational success.

Mark Griffiths - Chief Executive
Mark’s current role is Chief Executive. Based in Petersham, Surrey, he reports to the trustees of the charity and is supported by a group of experienced, professionally qualified therapists and a dedicated support team.
