Jane is an Integrative Child Psychotherapist who trained at the Institute of Arts and Therapy in Education. She is registered with UKCP. Alongside her work at the School and Family Works, Jane works with families after children have been adopted at PAC-UK and supports children, adolescents and their parents in private practice. Jane also has significant experience working therapeutically in schools, where she has helped develop award winning therapeutic services and schoolwide programmes to support the mental health and wellbeing of students and staff. Jane was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship in 2020 to research models for clinical supervision for teachers with Safeguarding responsibilities in New Zealand and Australia.

 

She began her career as a secondary school teacher, before specialising in working with children with social and emotional difficulties and in particular, with those children who have experienced challenging childhood experiences. She worked with children at risk of exclusion from school at the charity Jamie’s Farm.
