Kate Griffiths

Kate trained at foundation level in art and then at The Drama Centre, London. She has fifteen years experience as a professional actress, working in theatre, television, film and radio. Since becoming a mother to three sons, Kate has combined this role with a variety of work. She has run both drama and art clubs for children and the elderly, taught drama at examination level and worked as an occupational therapy assistant with long term mental health patients. Kate is also a trustee of Metoo & Co, a Twickenham–based charity for children with additional needs. Kate has worked as a singer and signer for Singing Hands and has training in Makaton sign language. She has extensive voluntary experience working with families where children have additional needs.
